Glass Production
Glass production involves melting raw materials, primarily silica sand, along with soda ash and limestone, at high temperatures. This mixture is heated in a furnace until it becomes molten glass, which can then be shaped into various forms.
Once shaped, the glass is cooled in a controlled manner to prevent cracking, a process known as annealing. After cooling, the glass can be further processed through cutting, polishing, or coating to enhance its properties and appearance, making it suitable for a wide range of applications, from bottles to windows.
