Glafcos Clerides
Glafcos Clerides was a prominent Cypriot politician and lawyer, born on April 24, 1919. He served as the President of Cyprus from 1993 to 2003, playing a crucial role in the island's political landscape. Clerides was a member of the Democratic Rally party and was known for his efforts in seeking a peaceful resolution to the Cyprus dispute.
