Gladys Berejiklian
Gladys Berejiklian is an Australian politician who served as the 45th Premier of New South Wales from January 2017 until October 2021. She is a member of the Liberal Party and has represented the Willoughby electorate in the New South Wales Legislative Assembly since 2003. Berejiklian was the first woman to hold the position of Premier in New South Wales.
During her time in office, Berejiklian focused on infrastructure development, economic growth, and public health initiatives. Her leadership was particularly noted during the COVID-19 pandemic, where she implemented various measures to manage the crisis. She resigned in October 2021 amid an investigation by the Independent Commission Against Corruption.
