Giotto's Campanile is a freestanding bell tower located next to the Florence Cathedral in Florence, Italy. Designed by the artist Giotto di Bondone, it stands at 82 meters tall and is known for its stunning Gothic architecture. The tower features intricate sculptures and colorful marble panels, showcasing the artistic style of the early Renaissance.
Construction of the campanile began in 1334 and was completed in 1359. It has a total of seven bells, with the largest bell, known as the Marzocco, weighing over 3,000 kilograms. Visitors can climb the 414 steps to enjoy panoramic views of Florence and its historic skyline.
