Gilli Danda
Gilli Danda is a traditional Indian sport that combines elements of cricket and baseball. It is played with two sticks: a long one called the danda and a smaller one known as the gilli. The objective is to hit the gilli with the danda and then run to a designated point before the opposing team can retrieve the gilli and hit the player with it.
The game is usually played outdoors in open spaces and can accommodate many players. It is popular in rural areas and is often played by children and young adults. Gilli Danda promotes physical activity, teamwork, and coordination among players.
