Gifu Castle
Gifu Castle is a historic Japanese castle located on Mount Kinka in Gifu Prefecture. Originally built in the 16th century, it served as a strategic military stronghold during the Sengoku period. The castle offers panoramic views of the surrounding area and is accessible by a hiking trail or a cable car.
The current structure is a reconstruction completed in 1956, as the original castle was destroyed in the late 19th century. Gifu Castle is part of the Gifu Park and is a popular tourist destination, attracting visitors interested in Japan's rich history and culture.
