Giardini Vaticani
The Giardini Vaticani, or Vatican Gardens, are a series of gardens and green spaces located within the Vatican City. Covering about half of the Vatican's territory, these gardens feature a variety of plants, fountains, and sculptures, providing a serene environment for reflection and contemplation.
Established in the 16th century, the gardens are not open to the general public but can be visited through guided tours. They include historical elements such as the Pinecone Courtyard and the Grotto of Lourdes, showcasing the rich cultural and artistic heritage of the Catholic Church.
