German Volleyball Association
The German Volleyball Association (DVV) is the governing body for volleyball in Germany. Founded in 1955, it oversees the organization and promotion of both indoor and beach volleyball at all levels, from grassroots to professional competitions. The DVV is responsible for the national teams, including the men's and women's squads, and organizes various tournaments and leagues across the country.
In addition to managing competitions, the DVV focuses on developing the sport through coaching programs, youth initiatives, and partnerships with local clubs. The association aims to increase participation and improve the overall standard of volleyball in Germany, fostering a strong community around the sport.
