German Hockey Federation
The German Hockey Federation (Deutscher Hockey-Bund, DHB) is the governing body for field hockey in Germany. Established in 1909, it oversees the organization and promotion of the sport at all levels, from grassroots to elite competitions. The federation is responsible for the national teams, including both men's and women's squads, and organizes domestic leagues and tournaments.
The DHB is a member of the International Hockey Federation (FIH) and the European Hockey Federation (EHF). It plays a crucial role in developing hockey in Germany, providing coaching, training programs, and resources to enhance the skills of players and coaches across the country.
