Geography of Haiti
Haiti is located on the island of Hispaniola in the Caribbean Sea, sharing the island with the Dominican Republic. It covers an area of approximately 27,750 square kilometers, making it the third-largest country in the Caribbean. The landscape is characterized by rugged mountains, fertile valleys, and coastal plains, with the highest peak being Pic la Selle.
The country has a tropical climate, with a wet season from April to October and a dry season from November to March. Haiti's geography includes several rivers, such as the Artibonite River, which is the longest in the country.
