General Richard Myers
General Richard Myers is a retired four-star general in the United States Air Force. He served as the 15th Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff from 2001 to 2005, playing a crucial role during the early years of the War on Terror following the September 11 attacks.
Myers was born on March 14, 1942, in Kansas. He graduated from Kansas State University and began his military career in 1965. Throughout his service, he held various leadership positions, including commander of the U.S. Central Command, overseeing military operations in the Middle East.
