General Pharmaceutical Council
The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) is the regulatory body for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and pharmacy premises in Great Britain. It ensures that these professionals meet high standards of practice and education, promoting safe and effective pharmacy services for the public.
The GPhC also maintains a register of qualified pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, overseeing their continuing professional development. By setting standards and conducting inspections, the council aims to protect public health and ensure that pharmacy services are delivered safely and effectively across the healthcare system.
