Gen (Generation)
A "Gen" or generation refers to a group of individuals born and living around the same time, typically spanning about 15 to 20 years. Generations are often categorized by significant historical events, cultural shifts, or technological advancements that shape their experiences and values. Commonly recognized generations include the Baby Boomers, Generation X, Millennials, and Generation Z.
Each generation tends to develop its own identity, influenced by the social, economic, and political climate of their formative years. For example, Millennials are known for their comfort with technology and social media, while Baby Boomers experienced post-war prosperity and the rise of civil rights movements.
