Gagauz language
The Gagauz language is a Turkic language spoken primarily by the Gagauz people, who mainly reside in the autonomous region of Gagauzia in Moldova. It is closely related to other Turkic languages, such as Turkish and Azerbaijani, and has been influenced by Romanian and Russian due to historical and geographical factors.
Gagauz is written using the Latin alphabet, which was adopted in the early 1990s. The language is recognized as a minority language in Moldova, and efforts are being made to promote its use in education and media to preserve the cultural identity of the Gagauz community.
