Ga people
The Ga people are an ethnic group primarily located in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. They are known for their rich cultural heritage, which includes unique traditions, festivals, and languages. The Ga language, part of the Kwa language family, is spoken by many in the community.
One of the most significant celebrations for the Ga people is the Homowo festival, which marks the end of the hunger season and celebrates the harvest. The festival features traditional music, dance, and the preparation of special dishes, highlighting the community's agricultural practices and social values.
