GPA Amphibious Vehicle
The GPA Amphibious Vehicle, also known as the "Seep," was a military transport vehicle developed during World War II. Designed by Ford Motor Company, it could operate both on land and in water, making it versatile for various terrains. The GPA was equipped with a 4x4 drivetrain and a lightweight body, allowing it to carry troops and supplies across beaches and rivers.
The GPA featured a unique hull design that enabled it to float and navigate in water. It was powered by a V8 engine and could reach speeds of up to 8 mph in water and 50 mph on land. Although only about 12,000 units were produced, the GPA played a significant role in amphibious operations during the war.
