GNAS
GNAS, or the Grand National Archery Society, is the governing body for archery in the United Kingdom. Established in 1844, it oversees the rules, regulations, and organization of archery competitions. GNAS promotes the sport at all levels, from beginners to elite athletes, and works to develop archery clubs across the country.
The society also plays a crucial role in training coaches and judges, ensuring that the sport is conducted fairly and safely. GNAS is affiliated with international archery organizations, allowing British archers to compete on the world stage. Through its initiatives, GNAS aims to increase participation and enjoyment of archery.
