Götheborg
The Götheborg is a replica of an 18th-century Swedish East Indiaman ship. Originally built in 1738, the original vessel was used for trade between Sweden and Asia. The replica was launched in 2003 and is designed to closely resemble the original in both appearance and function.
This ship serves as a floating museum and educational platform, showcasing maritime history and the significance of trade during the Age of Exploration. The Götheborg has sailed on various voyages, promoting cultural exchange and historical awareness while engaging the public in maritime heritage.
