Furutaka-Class
The Furutaka-Class was a series of light cruisers built for the Imperial Japanese Navy during the 1920s. This class included four ships: Furutaka, Aoba, Kinugasa, and Tama. They were designed for scouting and supporting larger battleships, featuring a combination of speed and firepower.
These cruisers were equipped with eight 203 mm guns and had a displacement of around 8,500 tons. The Furutaka-Class played significant roles in various naval engagements during the early years of World War II, showcasing the evolving naval tactics of the time.
