Frigatebird
The Frigatebird is a large seabird known for its impressive wingspan, which can reach up to 7.5 feet. These birds are primarily found in tropical and subtropical regions, often soaring high above the ocean. They have long, pointed wings and a distinctive forked tail, allowing them to glide effortlessly for hours without flapping their wings.
Frigatebirds are unique among seabirds because they do not have waterproof feathers, which means they cannot dive into the water for food. Instead, they feed on fish and other marine animals by stealing from other birds or catching prey near the surface. Their striking appearance and aerial skills make them fascinating to observe.
