Friedrich III of Germany
Friedrich III of Germany, also known as Friedrich III, was the German Emperor and King of Prussia for a brief period in 1888. He was born on October 18, 1831, and was the son of Wilhelm I, the first German Emperor. Friedrich was known for his liberal views and desire for reform, particularly in the areas of civil rights and military policy.
His reign lasted only 99 days, as he succumbed to throat cancer on June 15, 1888. Despite his short time in power, Friedrich III's vision for a more progressive Germany influenced future leaders and remains a point of interest in the history of the German Empire.
