Friedrich Franz I
Friedrich Franz I was the Grand Duke of Mecklenburg-Schwerin from 1816 until his death in 1837. He was born on December 28, 1778, and was a member of the House of Mecklenburg. His reign was marked by efforts to modernize the duchy and improve its economy and infrastructure.
