French Bullfighting
French Bullfighting, known as course camarguaise, is a traditional event in the Camargue region of southern France. Unlike the more famous Spanish bullfighting, it focuses on agility and skill rather than killing the bull. Participants, called raseteurs, aim to grab a ribbon or a horn from the bull while avoiding its charges.
The bulls used in this sport are specially bred for their agility and strength. The event is often held during local festivals and emphasizes the cultural heritage of the region. It promotes a spirit of competition and showcases the bravery of the raseteurs without harming the animals.
