Frederik VII
Frederik VII was the King of Denmark from 1840 until his death in 1863. He was born on October 6, 1808, and became known for his role in the transition of Denmark from an absolute monarchy to a constitutional monarchy. His reign saw significant political changes, including the introduction of the Constitution of 1849, which established a parliamentary system.
Frederik VII was also notable for his personal life, including his marriage to Countess Caroline Danner, which was controversial due to her lower social status. He died on November 15, 1863, and was succeeded by his cousin, Christian IX.
