Frederik IX
Frederik IX was the King of Denmark from 1947 until his death in 1972. Born on March 11, 1899, he was the son of King Christian X and Queen Alexandrine. Frederik IX played a significant role in modernizing the Danish monarchy and was known for his approachable demeanor and love for the arts, particularly music.
During his reign, Frederik IX oversaw important changes in Denmark, including the transition to a constitutional monarchy. He was also a supporter of social welfare programs and worked to strengthen Denmark's international relations, particularly within NATO and the European Community.
