Fred Milano
Fred Milano was an American singer, best known as a member of the popular doo-wop group, the The Belmonts. Born on August 24, 1939, in The Bronx, New York, he contributed to the group's distinctive harmonies and vocal style. The Belmonts gained fame in the late 1950s and early 1960s, particularly for their collaboration with Dion DiMucci.
Throughout his career, Milano and the Belmonts released several hit songs, including "I Wonder Why" and "A Teenager in Love." The group's music remains influential in the rock and roll genre, and they are celebrated for their contributions to the doo-wop sound. Milano passed away on January 1, 2012.
