František Křižík
František Křižík was a Czech inventor and electrical engineer, born on July 8, 1847, in Plzeň, Bohemia. He is best known for his work in the development of electric lighting and the design of the first electric tramway in Prague. His innovations significantly contributed to the spread of electrical technology in the late 19th century.
Křižík also created the famous Křižík's fountain in Prague, which features a spectacular light and water show. His contributions to electrical engineering earned him recognition and respect in both the Czech Republic and the broader scientific community. He passed away on January 27, 1941.
