Francisco Gómez de Sandoval
Francisco Gómez de Sandoval was a prominent Spanish nobleman and politician in the early 17th century. Born in 1553, he became the Duke of Lerma and served as the favorite of King Philip III of Spain. His influence in the royal court allowed him to shape policies and appointments during his time in power.
