Fort d'Issy
The Fort d'Issy is a historic military fortification located in the suburb of Issy-les-Moulineaux, near Paris, France. Built between 1861 and 1864, it was part of the Thiers Wall defense system designed to protect the capital from potential invasions. The fort features a star-shaped layout and was constructed using brick and stone.
During its operational years, the fort played a significant role in various military conflicts, including the Franco-Prussian War. Today, the site has been repurposed for residential and commercial use, while still retaining some of its historical architecture and significance.
