Forearm Muscles
The forearm muscles are divided into two main groups: the flexors and the extensors. The flexor muscles, located on the inner side of the forearm, are responsible for bending the wrist and fingers. Key muscles in this group include the flexor carpi radialis and flexor digitorum superficialis.
On the outer side of the forearm, the extensor muscles help straighten the wrist and fingers. Important muscles in this group include the extensor carpi radialis longus and extensor digitorum. Together, these muscles enable a wide range of hand movements essential for daily activities.
