Football Federation of Afghanistan
The Football Federation of Afghanistan (FFA) is the governing body for football in Afghanistan. Established in 1933, it oversees the organization and promotion of football activities in the country, including national leagues and the national team. The FFA is a member of both the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and FIFA, which allows Afghan teams to compete internationally.
The FFA aims to develop football at all levels, from grassroots to professional. It also focuses on promoting the sport among women and youth, fostering a love for football in a country where the sport has faced numerous challenges due to political and social issues.
