Fomalhaut b
Fomalhaut b is an exoplanet located about 25 light-years away from Earth in the constellation Piscis Austrinus. It orbits the star Fomalhaut, which is a bright, young star that is part of a debris disk, indicating the presence of dust and other materials around it.
Discovered in 2008, Fomalhaut b is notable for being one of the first exoplanets directly imaged. It is roughly 1.9 times the mass of Jupiter and orbits its star at a distance similar to that of Neptune from the Sun.
