Flying Reptiles
Flying reptiles, known as pterosaurs, were a group of prehistoric creatures that lived during the age of dinosaurs. They were not dinosaurs themselves but belonged to a separate clade. Pterosaurs had wings made of a membrane stretched between an elongated fourth finger and their bodies, allowing them to soar through the skies.
These reptiles varied greatly in size, from small species with wingspans of just a few feet to massive ones like Quetzalcoatlus, which had wingspans of over 30 feet. Pterosaurs were diverse in their diets, with some being fish-eaters and others possibly scavengers or fruit-eaters.
