Flying Fish
Flying fish are a unique group of fish known for their ability to glide above the water's surface. They have specially adapted fins that allow them to leap out of the water and soar through the air for distances of up to 200 meters. This remarkable ability helps them escape predators in the ocean.
These fish are typically found in warm ocean waters, particularly in the Atlantic Ocean, Pacific Ocean, and Indian Ocean. There are about 70 species of flying fish, and they primarily feed on plankton and small marine organisms. Their streamlined bodies and large pectoral fins make them efficient gliders.
