Florida Legislature
The Florida Legislature is the legislative body of the state of Florida, responsible for creating and passing laws. It is a bicameral institution, consisting of two chambers: the Florida House of Representatives and the Florida Senate. The legislature meets annually in Tallahassee, the state capital, to discuss and vote on various issues affecting the state.
Members of the Florida House serve two-year terms, while Florida Senators serve four-year terms. The legislature plays a crucial role in shaping state policies, including education, healthcare, and transportation. It also has the power to approve the state budget and address local concerns through legislation.
