Flood Geology
Flood geology is a concept that suggests many geological features on Earth were formed by a single, large-scale flood event, often associated with the biblical Noah's Flood. Proponents argue that this catastrophic event could explain the rapid formation of sedimentary rock layers and fossil deposits.
Supporters of flood geology believe that traditional geological processes, which take millions of years, do not adequately account for certain formations. They often cite evidence such as polystrate fossils, which are fossils that extend through multiple layers of sediment, as indicators of rapid deposition during a flood rather than slow accumulation over time.
