Fledglings
Fledglings are young birds that have recently developed feathers and are learning to fly. This stage occurs after they leave the nest but before they become fully independent. During this time, fledglings often rely on their parents for food and protection as they practice their flying skills.
Fledglings can be recognized by their shorter wings and less coordinated flight compared to adult birds. They may also have a different plumage, often resembling their parents but not yet fully developed. This transitional phase is crucial for their survival, as they gain the necessary skills to thrive in their environment.
