Flag of Mexico
The Flag of Mexico features three vertical stripes in green, white, and red. The green stripe represents hope, the white symbolizes purity, and the red stands for the blood of national heroes. In the center of the white stripe is the national emblem, which depicts an eagle perched on a cactus, holding a serpent in its beak and talon.
Adopted on September 16, 1968, the flag's design has roots in earlier flags used during the Mexican War of Independence. The colors and emblem reflect Mexico's rich history and cultural heritage, making it a significant national symbol.
