Flag of Andorra
The Flag of Andorra features three vertical stripes in blue, yellow, and red. The blue stripe is on the hoist side, followed by a wide yellow stripe in the center, and a red stripe on the fly side. In the center of the yellow stripe, there is the coat of arms of Andorra, which includes a shield with four quarters representing the historical ties of Andorra to both Catalonia and France.
The flag's colors symbolize different aspects of Andorran identity. The blue represents the sky, the yellow signifies the richness of the land, and the red stands for the blood shed for freedom. The coast of arms emphasizes Andorra's unique heritage and its status as a principality co-ruled by the Bishop of Urgell and the President of France.
