Finnish Championship
The Finnish Championship is the top professional football league in Finland, officially known as Veikkausliiga. Established in 1990, it features clubs from across the country competing for the title. The league operates on a promotion and relegation system with the lower division, known as Ykkönen.
Each season, teams play a series of matches, and the club with the most points at the end is crowned the champion. The league also determines which teams qualify for European competitions, such as the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League.
