Film Processing
Film processing is the chemical treatment of exposed photographic film to develop images. This process involves several steps, including developing, stopping, and fixing the film. During development, light-sensitive chemicals on the film react to the exposure, creating a latent image.
After development, the film is stopped using a stop bath, which halts the chemical reaction. Finally, a fixer is applied to make the image permanent and light-resistant. Once processed, the film can be printed or scanned to create photographs, allowing for the preservation of captured moments.
