Female Cells
"Female cells" typically refer to the reproductive cells in females, known as ova or egg cells. These cells are produced in the ovaries and play a crucial role in sexual reproduction. Each female is born with a finite number of these cells, which mature during the menstrual cycle and can be fertilized by male sperm.
In addition to ova, female cells also include somatic cells that make up the rest of the body. These cells contain two X chromosomes, which are responsible for determining female biological characteristics. Together, these cells contribute to growth, development, and overall health in females.
