Federation of Malaysia
The Federation of Malaysia is a country located in Southeast Asia, formed on September 16, 1963. It consists of thirteen states and three federal territories, divided into two main regions: Peninsular Malaysia and East Malaysia. The capital city is Kuala Lumpur, known for its modern skyline and cultural diversity.
The federation was established through the merger of the Federation of Malaya, Singapore, Sarawak, and Sabah. Although Singapore left the federation in 1965, the remaining states continue to work together under a federal government system.
