Feather Pens
Feather pens, also known as quill pens, are writing instruments made from the feathers of birds, typically geese or swans. The hollow shaft of the feather is cut to create a nib, which allows ink to flow onto paper. Feather pens were widely used from the 6th century until the 19th century, before being replaced by modern fountain pens and ballpoint pens.
These pens are often associated with historical figures such as William Shakespeare and Thomas Jefferson, who used them for writing important documents. Today, feather pens are popular for calligraphy and decorative writing, often used in art and craft projects.
