Fajardo Lighthouse
The Fajardo Lighthouse, also known as Faro de Fajardo, is located on the eastern coast of Puerto Rico. Built in 1882, it stands on a rocky cliff overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. The lighthouse was constructed to guide ships safely through the surrounding waters and is an important historical landmark in the area.
The structure is made of masonry and features a distinctive white tower with a red top. Although it is no longer an active lighthouse, it remains a popular tourist attraction, offering stunning views of the coastline and nearby islands, including Culebra and Vieques.
