Faro de Fajardo
The Faro de Fajardo, or Fajardo Lighthouse, is located on the eastern tip of Puerto Rico. Built in 1882, it stands at 60 feet tall and is a vital navigational aid for ships entering the Fajardo Bay. The lighthouse features a distinctive white tower with a red top, making it easily recognizable.
Surrounded by beautiful coastal scenery, the lighthouse is part of the Las Cabezas de San Juan Nature Reserve. Visitors can explore the area, which is home to diverse wildlife and stunning views of the Caribbean Sea. The lighthouse remains an important historical landmark in the region.
