FMLN
The FMLN, or Farabundo Martà National Liberation Front, is a political party in El Salvador that originated as a guerrilla group during the Salvadoran Civil War, which lasted from 1980 to 1992. The organization was formed to fight against social injustice and government repression, advocating for the rights of the poor and marginalized.
After the civil war ended, the FMLN transitioned into a political party and participated in democratic elections. It has since played a significant role in Salvadoran politics, promoting progressive policies and social reforms aimed at improving the lives of its citizens.
