FEI
The FEI, or Fédération Equestre Internationale, is the international governing body for equestrian sports. Founded in 1921, it oversees various disciplines, including dressage, show jumping, and eventing. The organization sets rules, promotes competitions, and ensures the welfare of horses in these sports.
Based in Lausanne, Switzerland, the FEI works with national federations to develop equestrian activities worldwide. It organizes major events, such as the FEI World Equestrian Games and the Olympic Games equestrian events, fostering global participation and excellence in horse sports.
