Fédération Equestre Internationale
The Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) is the international governing body for equestrian sports. Founded in 1921, it oversees various disciplines, including show jumping, dressage, and eventing. The FEI sets the rules and regulations for competitions and promotes the welfare of horses in sports worldwide.
Based in Lausanne, Switzerland, the FEI organizes major events such as the World Equestrian Games and the equestrian events at the Olympic Games. It also works to develop equestrian sports globally, supporting national federations and encouraging participation at all levels, from amateur to professional riders.
