FATA
FATA, or the Federally Administered Tribal Areas, was a region in Pakistan that existed until 2018. It was located along the border with Afghanistan and was known for its unique governance structure, which was different from the rest of Pakistan. The area was primarily inhabited by various tribal groups and had its own set of laws and customs.
In 2018, FATA was merged with the neighboring province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, leading to significant administrative changes. This merger aimed to integrate the region more fully into Pakistan's political and legal framework, providing residents with better access to government services and development opportunities.
